This "Maastricht blond" beer (Maastricht,southernmost city of the Netherlands) is brewed after an original recipe from 1674 which contained over 20 different herbs. All still available herbs have been used in the brewing process which has been updated to today's standards. At this tiem the beer is being brewed at Brewery "De heren van Beeck" in Beek, a town just outside Maastricht. The plan is that soon it wil be brewed in Maastricht on a historical site.
