Warsteiner Brauerei brews its beer since 1753 in a little town called Warstein lying right in the heart of Germany, in the middle of the untouched forests of Rhineland-Westphalia. Germany has more breweries than any other country in the world: over 1.200 producing more than 5.000 brands - all of them being brewed according to the "Law of Purity" established in 1516, which determines that "beer must only contain water, barley, yeast, hop and nothing else". No other cereals, no sugars, no preservatives and other chemicals. Among all theses brands there are only a few considered Premium.
Warsteiner has not only been the leader of the Premium segment but the absolute dominating brand among all German beers for many years. Despite the growing demand Warsteiner do not consider licensing production to third parties or set up own production in any other place in order to guarantee Premium Quality and its unique flavour. Thus it makes no difference where you drink it, in Brazil, Germany, US or UK: Warsteiner will always be the same.
