Samuel Adams Double Bock - sent 28 times
Samuel Adams
Brewed since 1988 in United States of America
7.2 % alc. vol.
Appreciate Double Bock's strong malt and caramel character. We use an enormous amount of malt, half a pound per bottle, to brew this intensely rich
lager. Despite the malt quantity, Double Bock is uniquely smooth. The deep brown-ruby color is all made in the kettle -- no black malt is used. As a result,
the rough taste of burnt malt is absent. All that remains is the smooth velvet flavor of costly two-row malt. Double Bock's intense malt character is balanced
with Tettnang and Saaz hops, which are used in roughly the same proportion as in Samuel Adams Boston Lager. This rich lager has a dry, faintly smoky
finish.

Serve Double Bock with patés, chicken, and wild mushrooms. This is a beer that will take the chill out of late winter and early spring evenings, when the
weather is uncertain and the tulips are still frozen underfoot.

Cheers!
