Redhook Winterhook - sent 3 times
Redhook
Brewed since 1985 in United States of America
6.1 % alc. vol.
Winterhook winter ale is the seasonal companion to Redhook's Sunrye and Nut Brown ales. It is offered annually during the fall and winter months.

Winterhook's popularity has been a result of its drinkable style, and clean, dry, roasty palate which is meant to accompany hearty feasts and fine friends. This delicious beer gets its distinctive flavor from the brewmaster's combination of three different malts: Carmel 80, a touch of chocolate malt and a special, custom-kilned 2-row barley. The hop varieties of Willamette and Kent Golding offer an aromatic complement to the toasty barley flavors. The color is a pleasing deep ruby.

Winterhook ale is excellent with holiday dinners, especially turkey and trimmings.
