The strongest beer commercially available is Sam Adams Utopias MMII, which is brewed by the Boston Beer Company, Massachusetts, USA and has an alcohol volume of 24%. Utopias MMII is the "strongest commercially available beer" (see Guinness Boook of World Records) and the only beer (domestic or import) that is brewed with a fine selection of Noble hops and then aged in port, scotch and cognac barrels. The beer contains two Row Harrington, Caramel and Vienna Malts; Hallertau Mittelfrueh, Tettnang Tettnanger, Spalt Spalter and Czech Saaz Noble hops, with a hint of Maple Syrup.
