Winter Lager is a dark wheat bock with an herbal bitterness, intense flavor and a beautiful ruby hue. As a bock, it
is brewed with extra malt, for a heartier, more full-bodied taste. A substantial portion of wheat malt is used in
addition to two-row Harrington and caramel malts. The wheat malt gives this robust beer a lovely sharpness and a
clean, crisp finish. Also detectable is a slight earthiness from the Goldings hops, which are added to the brew along
with Saaz and Tettnang Tettnanger hops.
