Before refrigeration, lager beer was left to slowly cool and age in open vessels. The steam that rose from those cooling vessels gave this style of craft brewing its name. In order to accurately re-create steam brewing, Sleeman custom built an enclosed steam-cooling vessel, which allows extra time for natural cooling.
Tasting Notes: A deep golden beer with a rich, lively flavour and a noticeably refreshing finish.
