Twist Shandy is a lemon flavoured beverage with hint of Banks Beer which produces a clean, fresh shandy drink. Launched in 1995 with encouraging results, TWIST enjoys popularity as a thirst quencher and like most shandies worldwide, is consumed predominantly as an alternative to hard alcoholic beverages. In Barbados it is also enjoyed as a mixer, and along with the country’s famous white rum, makes for an excellent tropical cocktail. This refreshing lemon/beer combination thrives in small shops, bars and supermarkets islandwide. It is currently exported to CARICOM and to the USA. The secret to TWIST’s success?
