Brewed by the Moortgat brewery (of Duvel fame) for the nearby Maredsous Benedictine Abbey at Denee, south of Namur. The 8 is a tawny colored dubbel that is sweetish on the palate with hints of coffee and chocolate on the finish. A deep tawny coloured ale, light in body with a sweetish pallete.
