A lovely, malty mouthfeel is the trademark of this copper beer. Bitterness creeps up slowly on the rear and sides of the tongue in a testament to a mellowness not usually associated with golden German pilseners. Sweeter than other Bavarian beers by the barest of margins, it is balanced, subtly aromatic and satisfying.
